On the path to fresh packaging solutions

Individual peppers are sold in bulk, without packaging and with an identification sticker. Peppers sold in duos and trios are currently offered in plastic bags, but we are working towards more eco-responsible solutions that we hope to bring you soon.

Tips

Keep your vegetables at their best

  • Store in the refrigerator at a temperature of 0°C to 4°C, ideally in the crisper section with a high humidity setting to limit changes in colour, texture and moisture.
  • Mist peppers with fresh water to maintain their moisture.
  • No need to keep peppers separated–they are not susceptible to the ethylene gas emitted by some fruits.
  • Keep the stem and seeds attached if only part of the pepper is used.
  • Take advantage of an excellent vitamin source by eating your peppers fresh: vitamin C, with the amount varying by colour, vitamin A in red peppers and vitamin K in green peppers.

    Our goal above all else is to produce healthy, safe food. To us, producing vegetables without the use of GMOs is non-negotiable for a sustainable future. That’s why we only use seed varieties without GMOs. Vegetables grown in nature should be as natural as possible.

    Our vegetables are all grown locally in one of our four greenhouses located in St-Jerome, Portneuf, Sainte-Clotilde and Ham-Nord, not far from city centres. The shorter the distance, the fresher your produce!
